Based between Beijing, New York, and Los Angeles, Zixia brings a cross-cultural perspective to her approach to world-building. With experience in both production design and on-set set dressing, she is interested in how environments can quietly reveal character psychology, personal history, and unspoken tension within a story.
Zixia’s background in film editing and illustration informs her visual sensibility, allowing her to think about design not only as an aesthetic choice, but as a narrative tool shaped by rhythm, composition, and mood. She is comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative production environments and adapting creatively under real-world constraints.
